One of many consequences of fiat money is the capital allocation process is not determined by the market but rather by central banks, government bureaucrats, and elites. Henry Kissinger, long-time bureaucrat and elitist, sums it up nicely:
Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world.
The corruption of money has led to the corruption of all else. By controlling the creation of new money and the capital allocation process, the Global Elites have wreaked havoc on the commoner and accumulated more and more power over time.
Their latest agenda, the Great Reset, is well underway. The Great Reset is the World Economic Forum's scheme to "shape the recovery" post-Covid-19. Soon after COVID-19 emerged, Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum, began spreading the idea of the Great Reset publicly. The Davos Superclass, comprised of less than 10,000 people globally, such as politicians, central bankers, intelligence agencies, Wall Street, and academics, quickly got on board with the Great Reset.
The Great Reset's goal of "shaping the recovery post-Covid-19" simply means finding ways for the world's Elites to get more power and profits via three primary attack vectors: food, energy, and money. And to achieve their means of shaping the recovery, there need to be crises to exploit for their ends.
Think back to COVID-19, the mass hysteria cultivated by the media, governments, and global elite. Nearly everyone was initially in crisis mode. This is precisely where the government and policymakers wanted us to be so they could come in with their alleged solutions, which resulted in reducing our freedom and wealth. It's crazy to think back to that first year we were told to lock ourselves in our house, wear masks, and not gather with friends or family for holidays. We can also recall several instances of politicians breaking the same restrictions they forced upon us.
Rules for thee and not for me.
As it relates to the Great Reset's attack on food production globally, there have been some concerning developments that we will shed light on in this post. While it can be hard for some to comprehend the level of corruption globally, and we may come off as conspiratorial, when accounting for historical events, many offensives on food supplies have been waged on the people in the past.
Not only in communist countries such as China's Great Famine under Mao or Ukraine under Stalin, where 10s of millions of lives were taken by governments. Even in the United States, in the 19th century, the government incentivized the decimation of millions of bison in the Great Plains to force Native Americans off their land.
The Globalists' attack on food is not as explicit as in the past. This time it is primarily driven by policy related to the "climate crisis" and the aforementioned capital allocation process using screens such as Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG).
A recent victim of the Great Reset is Sri Lanka. The former President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa, instituted a ban on chemical fertilizers in 2021, based on guidance from the WEF, to boost their ESG score. Fast forward to 2022, the country suffered a crop failure and an economic collapse.
That's only one example, though. We want to cover three main developments that threaten our food security globally and could be part of the globalists' plan to create new food systems.
You will Eat the Bugs
The World Economic Forum has waged war on animal protein. The Davos class has continued to vilify livestock for the methane emissions coming from their burps. Cows, which eat grass, digest it through their four stomachs and convert it into nutrient-dense proteins and fats, are being deemed "climate offenders" by globalists. Livestock has been roaming the planet, eating grass, burping, and farting for as long as we can remember, but suddenly they are to blame for the "climate crisis."
The climate crisis is quite serious, apparently. A hot topic at the Davos Annual Meeting of 2023, the WEF "Global Perception Survey (GRPS)" surveyed 1,200 "experts" to weigh in on the biggest risk in the next 10 years. You guessed it, failure to mitigate climate change.
Somehow we face life-threatening circumstances from climate change, but the Elites fly private to Davos, Switzerland, each year. Perhaps if their actions somewhat matched their rhetoric, it would be believable. Instead, they forewarn us of our looming demise while they enjoy the beautiful Alps and tell us that we need to stop eating burgers cooked on our gas stoves to save the planet.
The demonization of animals has been underway for years, if not decades, but the stakes are getting higher. Globalists are taking more coercive measures to institute their plans for the future. A future where you will eat the bugs.
Recently, you may have heard of those pesky farmers in the Netherlands who don't want to give up the land they have stewarded for generations. But seriously, the circumstance in the Netherlands is quite sad. The onslaught from the media on farmers who produce food for their country and the world continues to get worse. The Netherlands is the 2nd largest exporter of agricultural products, with $111 billion of exports in 2021. And the Dutch farmers are facing a war of attrition from the globalists. You can even see the tone the mainstream media uses against them, highlighted in this Bloomberg article.
What is the war being waged on the Dutch farmers? Well, under advisory by the WEF, UN, and other globalist organizations, the Dutch government is seeking to reduce their nitrogen emissions by 50% by 2030.
Their livestock count must be reduced by a minimum of 30% to achieve their goal, with estimates of 95% in certain provinces in the Netherlands.
So, the Dutch Government will move forward with its plan to confiscate 3,000 farms by 2030. The government announced they will acquire these farms "as part of a voluntary and one-time offer." The "Nitrogen Minister" said they set aside €24.3 billion to purchase these farms, but if the farmers do not sell voluntarily, they will be forced out of business.
Meanwhile, as the "climate crisis" is used to force animal protein out of the diets of us peasants, the Elites continue to promote their sleek new alternative: "plant-based" protein. Unsurprisingly, destroying small family farms under their climate agenda and consolidating farmland ownership will give governments and their allies more control and money.
There's not much control to be gained or money to be made from small-scale family farms feeding their local communities. Thus, they must be destroyed and replaced with commercial farming operations that produce the industrial sludge: lab-made protein.
Per this Bloomberg article, "Bill Gates has joined a slew of billionaires investing in an Australian climate technology startup that has plans to disrupt the methane-emitting animal agriculture industry with a lab-grown feed additive."
How Bill Gates, a known friend of Jeffrey Epstein, has maintained his reputation and credibility is beyond me, but don't pay attention to that. Eat Beyond Meat!
Gates is at the forefront of the Great Reset. He's the largest private farmland owner in the United States, and he's investing in several "alternative protein" and "lab-grown" feeds and foods. His investment in Rumin8 Pty, the company above, is one of many in which he has a financial interest. Surely, it's all about the climate rather than about making more money and controlling global food production.
The strategy appears to be, create a crisis, the "climate crisis." Offer a solution, give up nutrient-dense animal protein and your land, and buy our industrial sludge to save the planet.
The Great Reset has taken aim and fired shots at our food systems. Globalists are progressing in dismantling the current food systems through policy, propaganda, and confiscation.
All of this is happening while food insecurity is elevated globally. The World Food Programme estimates 828 million people go hungry each night, and the number of those facing acute food insecurity has soared - from 135 million to 345 million - since 2019.
Due to scarcity created by globalist policies, we may be in the early stages of a global food crisis.
An Eggsistential Crisis
You don't need us to tell you that eggs are damn expensive.
Egg prices have increased from an average price of $2/dozen to $7/dozen in the last 18 months. According to our trusted media establishment, "strong consumer demand" and Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) are the culprits for the egg shortage.
According to the “experts,” 58 million birds have died in the past year due to Avian flu; however, the media is leaving out a crucial details regarding the number of deaths. Not all 58 million deaths can be attributed to the avian flu because the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is doing some work behind the scenes.
According to Joel Salatin, a prominent US regenerative farmer & rancher, the USDA is visiting farms and ranches across the country to test for Avian flu. The USDA is killing off the birds that are sick, but not only that, they are killing off entire flocks, even the healthy birds.
Salatin writes in a recent blog post:
The main thing to realize is that the chicken numbers HPAI has allegedly killed are not actually HPAI mortalities. Most are non-symptomatic apparently healthy birds in the same area, only killed as a precaution. Think about that for a moment. I talked with a guy who had 250 surviving birds in a flock of 3,000. The USDA (duh) required the 250 healthy survivors to be exterminated. Now what in the name of common sense would make you want to kill the strong ones, the ones you could save as breeders to transfer immunity to subsequent generations?
Salatin makes a great point. The birds that have immunity to the flu should be kept alive to pass those genes to further generations. Instead, the USDA is killing entire flocks, exacerbating the egg shortage.
And this is not a one-off anecdote. Salatin is one of many farmers in the country sharing similar stories. Josh Rainer, a regenerative farmer in Colorado, went to Twitter recently with a similar experience:
As the avian flu & USDA continue to ravage flocks around the country, there is another pressure point on the egg supply that barely no one is talking about. Of course, there is not much, if any, coverage in the mainstream media.
Salatin notes in his blog that 1 million new backyard flocks were started in the US in 2020. It seems that people wanted a hobby or more autonomy over their food supply following the initial shock of COVID. However, many of these people who started small flocks in their backyard or homestead have reported that their hens have not been laying eggs for several months this year. While it's typical for hens to lay fewer eggs during winter due to lack of sunshine, it is not normal for hens to not lay for several months.
As people shared their experiences online, they noticed a common theme. Many of them were using the same chicken feed from Tractor Supply Company (TSC). Tractor Supply feed uses GMO corn and Salatin notes that "conventional dairy farmers have stayed away from GMO corn because it allegedly causes spontaneous abortions in their lactating cows." "If GMOs affect embryos in dairy cows, is it a stretch to think they affect eggs in chickens?"
Salatin may be on to something because as people switched their chicken feeds, they reported that hens began laying eggs again. While the TSC feed may not have been intentionally used to stop hens from producing eggs, let's just say there are some strange connections to the company.
Spin the Wheel: Fire, Explosion, Plane Crash
One final trend we have been following is the excessive amounts of plane crashes, fires, and explosions at farms, processing facilities, and the like, not only in the United States but worldwide, putting additional strain on global food production.
Our findings show that there have been well over 100 incidents in the past two years. While accidents happen, the sheer volume of these happenings and the lack of coverage raise suspicion.
We remain skeptical that these are strange coincidences. These occurrences are reducing the supply of food globally, and there appears to be an outsized number of them happening at animal protein farms and facilities.
These are not small operations either. ZeroHedge reported that New Zealand's largest egg producer recently went up in flames at an especially inopportune time.
The fire at Zeagold farm had "taken the better part of the day to contain," according to the company, adding that twelve workers on the site were "unharmed but very distressed." Prior to the fire, New Zealand farmers estimated that the country needed another 300,000 hens to deal with a national egg shortage, The Guardian reports.
If the globalists seek to control global food production, the first step in achieving that is creating a food crisis. They would need to destroy the existing systems, make people vulnerable and then offer their solution.
There's no hard proof that these acts are being done intentionally; however, based on all the rhetoric around the Great Reset, we remain wary of the situation.
Will Harris, a 4th-generation cattleman at White Oak Pasture, which I had the pleasure of visiting in September, wrote, "The food shortage that I'm expecting fairly soon will be intentionally created. It will be a supply shortage, as opposed to a real food shortage."
Will Harris is not hyperbolic, and the message he wrote back in August seems to be quite prescient.
Are we experiencing a manufactured food shortage?
We'll leave it to you to decide.
Regardless, we will be sharing advice in future pieces to help you increase your food security to insulate you from shocks to the increasingly unstable global economy.
